About the Role

We are looking for a proactive Mechanical Engineer (Level 2) to design, develop, and oversee the installation of mechanical systems for ongoing projects. The ideal candidate will have practical experience with mechanical drawings, design calculations, and field supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in mechanical design development for building and industrial projects.
  • Prepare and review workshop and as-built drawings.
  • Perform material take-offs and support procurement planning.
  • Supervise mechanical installation activities under guidance.
  • Prepare project documentation including test reports and site records.
  • Support compliance with specifications, standards, and codes of practice.

OHSE Responsibilities

  • Follow company safety procedures and ensure site compliance.
  • Participate in toolbox talks and safety briefings.
  • Report unsafe conditions and recommend corrective actions.
  • Promote environmental sustainability practices on-site.

Skills & Abilities

  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Strong analytical and technical problem-solving ability.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical schematics.
  • Team player with initiative and reliability.

Knowledge & Technical Requirements

  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and mechanical design tools.
  • Understanding of HVAC, plumbing, or fire-fighting systems.
  • Familiarity with project documentation standards.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 2–4 years of experience in mechanical design and field supervision.
