Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located at Lagos Island. The Demi Chef will be responsible for the preparation, presentation, and cooking of a wide range of food items to ensure high-quality meals are served to customers. Responsibilities include maintaining kitchen operations, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, coordinating with the team to manage kitchen workflows, and continuously striving for excellence in food presentation and taste.

Qualifications

  • Cooking, food plating, and food preparation skills
  • Knowledge of food hygiene, safety standards, and kitchen best practices
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and take direction from the Head Chef
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and creativity in recipe execution
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or culinary environment is preferred
  • Culinary degree or relevant certifications are a plus
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and public holidays
