Job Title – Blockchain Backend Engineer (Rust & Solidity Specialist)

We are seeking an experienced Blockchain Backend Engineer to lead the architecture and development of a cutting-edge fintech platform that integrates digital wallets, smart contracts, and decentralized trading systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Rust, Solidity, and backend systems, with proven experience designing secure, scalable, and high-performance blockchain infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain the backend architecture for a fintech application featuring wallet integration, smart contracts, and decentralized trading functionalities.
  • Build and deploy smart contracts using Solidity and integrate them seamlessly with backend services.
  • Develop robust APIs and SDKs for interaction between the application and blockchain networks.
  • Implement blockchain nodes, indexing, and transaction processing systems using Rust or other performant backend technologies.
  • Ensure data integrity, scalability, and high availability across distributed systems.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers and blockchain engineers to ensure smooth integration between the backend and user-facing components.
  • Implement security best practices in blockchain data handling, encryption, and private key management.
  • Monitor performance, conduct audits, and optimize smart contract gas efficiency and backend throughput.
  • Stay updated with advancements in blockchain technologies, particularly around DeFi, Layer 2, and smart contract development.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with detailed documentation.

Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum 5–7 years of backend engineering experience, including 3+ years in blockchain or Web3 development.
  • Proven experience in fintech, DeFi, or crypto trading platforms.

Technical Expertise

  • Strong proficiency in Rust for backend and blockchain-related development.
  • Hands-on experience in Solidity smart contract design, deployment, and testing.
  • Familiarity with EVM-compatible blockchains such as Ethereum, Polygon, or BNB Smart Chain.
  • Deep understanding of blockchain node infrastructure, RPC endpoints, and consensus mechanisms.
  • Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs, GraphQL, or WebSocket services.
  • Knowledge of database systems (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis) and caching mechanisms for performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines for blockchain app deployment.
  • Understanding of security best practices in DeFi/fintech systems, including smart contract vulnerabilities (reentrancy, overflows, access control).
  • Bonus: Knowledge of Substrate, Layer 2 solutions (zkSync, Arbitrum, Optimism), and cross-chain bridges.
