Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Lagos Island for a Head of Finance and Accounting. The role involves overseeing the financial operations of the organization, preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The Head of Finance and Accounting will lead the finance team, provide strategic financial guidance, develop financial policies, and support key decision-making processes in collaboration with leadership to drive organizational growth.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements and Financial Reporting
  • Strong Finance and Budgeting skills with the ability to manage financial resources effectively
  • Analytical Skills to evaluate financial data, identify trends, and make strategic recommendations
  • Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving capabilities
  • Proven leadership and team management experience
  • Proficiency in using financial software and ERP systems such as Sage or Odoo is an advantage
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; an advanced degree or CPA/ACCA certification is an asset
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards, regulations, and compliance
