Develop and monitor all policies, procedures and processes, ensuring compliance withall standards adopted by the companyConduct annual control effectiveness testing and provide continuous feedback onidentified risk and controlCreatesframeworks for the development of departmental controls and continuousmonitoring of compliance with all approved controls across the companyMake recommendations on new controls to be implemented, streamlining of old controlsto ensure control objectives are achievedInvestigate all system errors, assist to institute controls in projects and ensureseffective and efficient operationReview vendor presentations for adequacy of controls that would impact the companyIncrease control awareness in CSCS with presentation slides and reportFacilitate the development of process and policy documentation for all company processes regardingthe control environment and implementing a company -wide compliance programme.Prepare and present Control Environment reports to Senior Management on a regularbasis while working with departments on the implementation of their individualcompliance programmesRegularise evaluation of internal controls, conduct design and quality assurance tests todetermine effectiveness/adequacy in meeting objectives and readiness forinternal audits.Conduct periodic gap analysis of current processes, controls and compliancerequirements with established frameworks and policies.Review Audit exception reports and works with departments to close all exceptionsraised in the Audit report.Review transactions with need for Internal Control approval, giving approvals forcompliant transactions while providing guidance for cases of control breaches.Provide regular updates on issues relating to IT policies and procedures, identifieschanges to requirements with control or process impact and communicates tomanagement for approval and implementation.Develop and implement standard policies, procedures, flowcharts and tools to ensurecompliance with best practice and audit requirementsAct as key stakeholder in ensuring timely completion of annual risk assessmentsacross the company contributing to the review of the control environment Develop and manage IT policies and processes ensuring compliance within the ITdepartmentAssist with the maintenance of all ITcompliance policies and documentation using applicable frameworks RequirementsMinimum of a first degree in a numerate discipline from a reputable institution.Minimum of five (5) years' relevant post -graduation experience within the Capital Market orFinancial Services Sector, with at least 3 years in IT Control IT Control or auditing qualification, such as CISA in required
