Position: Legal Associate

Location: Lagos (Onsite)

About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and competent Legal Associate who has been called to the Nigerian Bar to join our team. This role involves direct legal representation, prison outreach, advocacy, and legal support for indigent clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal representation in court and during legal clinics.
  • Conduct prison outreaches and prepare case files.
  • Draft legal documents and court processes.
  • Participate in legal awareness campaigns and advocacy efforts.

Requirements:

  • Must be a qualified Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
  • Demonstrated passion for human rights and access to justice.
  • Proficiency in legal research, drafting, and litigation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
