ACDC Dynamics a leading manufacturer, importer, and distributor of quality products in the electrical, electronics, pumps, and tools industry is looking for an experienced and dynamic Wireman to contribute to our company's objectives.

Purpose of the Role

To assemble and wire electrical control panels and distribution boards in accordance with electrical drawings, schematics, and technical standards, ensuring quality workmanship, safety compliance, and reliable performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings.
  • Carry out wiring of electrical control panels, MCCs, PLC panels, and distribution boards according to design specifications.
  • Mount and install components such as circuit breakers, contactors, relays, switches, terminal blocks, and other control equipment.
  • Cut, strip, crimp, and terminate wires neatly according to wire lists and labelling requirements.
  • Perform continuity, insulation, and functional tests on completed panels before dispatch.
  • Ensure panels are built to company and client quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and modifications during testing or commissioning stages.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Report material shortages, defects, or technical issues to supervisors promptly.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven experience (typically 2–5 years) in control panel wiring, switchgear, or industrial electrical assembly.

  • Familiarity with control systems (PLC, VFD, relay logic) is advantageous.

  • Experience using standard workshop tools and electrical test equipment.
  • Knowledge of relevant wiring standards (e.g., IEC, BS, or local regulations).
