Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Lagos for a Senior Portfolio Manager. The Senior Portfolio Manager will oversee the strategic management of investment portfolios, ensuring alignment with the principles of Shariah compliance. Key activities include analyzing market trends, managing client portfolios, executing trades, and developing investment strategies aimed at optimizing returns. The role also involves preparing detailed portfolio reports for stakeholders and providing expert guidance on investment opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Portfolio Management, Investments, and Trading
  • Advanced knowledge of finance principles and strategies
  • Excellent Analytical Skills to evaluate complex financial data
  • Proven experience in asset management and compliance with ethical or Shariah-compliant investment standards
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Professional certifications such as Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or equivalent are a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for client and team interaction
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a high-stakes environment
