About the Role

We are seeking an experienced
Corporate Finance Lead
with a strong background in real estate finance, project structuring, and capital strategy. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between financiers and developers, originating funding partnerships, structuring viable deals, and ensuring project bankability across our ecosystem. This role is central to expanding our construction finance portfolio, enabling developers to access tailored financing solutions while ensuring financiers' risk and return requirements are met.

Responsibilities

  • Project & Deal Structuring
  • Profile and assess the viability of construction projects for financing
  • Develop financial models, deal structures, and risk frameworks for real estate and infrastructure projects.
  • Design funding frameworks that align project cash flows with financier requirements.
  • Negotiate term sheets, security arrangements, repayment structures, and other deal elements with financiers and project sponsors.

  • Capital Sourcing & Relationship Management

  • Originate and manage relationships with financial institutions (DFIs, banks, PE funds, and family offices).
  • Negotiate and close financing partnerships and credit lines for developer and contractor financing.
  • Maintain a pipeline of capital providers across debt, equity, and mezzanine instruments.

  • Risk & Credit Oversight

  • Evaluate project risks and recommend mitigation measures.
  • Collaborate with the internal credit team to align deal structures with credit policy.
  • Conduct sensitivity analysis, stress testing, and scenario modelling to evaluate deal resilience.

  • Strategy & Execution

  • Contribute to capital strategy and fundraising efforts.
  • Support investor relations by preparing financial materials, investment memos, and partnership proposals.
  • Build frameworks to standardize project appraisal, due diligence, and financing criteria.
  • Interface with hedge funds, private equity firms, and institutional investors to communicate construction finance model.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or related field.
  • Master's degree or CFA qualification is an advantage.
  • 7–12 years of experience in corporate/project finance, investment banking, or real estate finance.
  • Demonstrated experience working with corporate financial institutions.
  • Proven track record of structuring and closing project or real estate finance deals.
  • Strong financial modeling, valuation, and credit analysis skills.
  • Experience negotiating with institutional investors, PE funds, and development finance partners.
  • Understanding of risk assessment and mitigation in construction and infrastructure projects.
