Role Overview

The Social Media Manager will oversee the planning, creation, and execution of content across all social media platforms to grow brand visibility, engage audiences, and drive digital impact. The ideal candidate is creative, organised, data-driven, and experienced in developing strategies tailored to different platforms.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with organisational goals.
  • Create engaging content (graphics, videos, captions) for Instagram, Facebook, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Manage daily posting, scheduling, and platform optimisation.
  • Monitor social media trends, analytics, and competitor activity.
  • Respond to messages, comments, and inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Run paid ads and track campaign performance (advantage).
  • Collaborate with internal teams to highlight events, activities, and campaigns.
  • Produce weekly and monthly analytics reports with insights and recommendations.
  • Grow followers, engagement, and brand visibility organically and through paid strategies.
  • Maintain brand tone, consistency, and content quality across all platforms.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience managing social media for a brand, organisation, or agency.
  • Proven portfolio of content or pages managed (required).
  • Experience with scheduling tools.
  • Knowledge of social media analytics and data interpretation.
  • Graphic design & video editing skills (Canva, CapCut, Adobe tools) are an added advantage.
  • Experience running digital ads is a plus.
