Job Summary

The Civil Engineer will be responsible for delivering high-quality engineering designs, project documentation, and technical support across various civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, proven industry experience, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams. The role requires proficiency in engineering software and a willingness to thrive in a structured, academic, and technically demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed engineering designs, drawings, and documentation for infrastructure, water resources, roads, structural, or environmental engineering projects.
• Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and engineering analyses.
• Produce accurate and comprehensive technical reports, design calculations, and project specifications.
• Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, regulations, and client requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, surveyors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless project execution.
• Review, validate, and improve engineering designs prepared by junior engineers or technicians.
• Use engineering design software such as Civil 3D, TDS, WaterCAD, or STAAD efficiently for modelling and analysis.
• Participate in technical reviews, design meetings, and internal quality assurance processes.
• Maintain accurate project records and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree (B.Eng.) in Civil Engineering.
• 5–10 years of experience in civil engineering design, construction, or consultancy.
• Proven experience delivering engineering designs, drawings, and technical reports.
• Proficiency in civil engineering software such as Civil 3D, TDS, WaterCAD, STAAD, or equivalent tools.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, relevant standards, and technical documentation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Willingness to work in a highly academic and technical engineering environment.

• In-person availability is an advantage; remote work may be approved after the probation period.
