Role Description

This is a full-time on-site position for a Baker, based in Lagos. The Baker will be responsible for preparing, baking, and presenting high-quality baked goods, including bread, cookies, and pastries. Day-to-day tasks include measuring and mixing ingredients, managing ovens and other kitchen equipment, and ensuring the consistent quality of baked products. The role also involves maintaining a clean and safe work environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards, and contributing creatively to menu development.

Qualifications

  • Skills in Bakery and Baking, with experience in producing high-quality baked goods.
  • Expertise in Food Preparation, particularly for cookies, bread, and assorted pastries.
  • Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene standards, and maintaining a clean workplace.
  • Creativity and passion for developing new recipes and innovative baked products.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Previous professional baking experience or formal culinary training is an advantage.
