Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Research Assistant located in Lekki. The Research Assistant will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data, conducting research, preparing reports, and assisting with various projects. The individual will collaborate with the team to provide insights and support decision-making processes, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.
1. Market and Industry Research
· Conduct in-depth research on real estate trends, property values, and market dynamics in Lagos and other target locations.
· Gather and analyze data on competitors, pricing, and customer preferences.
· Monitor regulatory, economic, and demographic developments affecting the real estate market.
2. Data Collection and Analysis
· Compile and analyze quantitative and qualitative data from surveys, property listings, and internal sales reports.
· Prepare data visualizations, charts, and reports to support management decisions.
· Use statistical tools and real estate data platforms to interpret and forecast market conditions.
3. Investment and Project Support
· Assist in evaluating new project feasibility studies, including financial modeling and market viability analysis.
· Support due diligence processes for potential acquisitions or partnerships.
· Provide summarized insights and recommendations on emerging property opportunities.
4. Documentation and Reporting
· Prepare comprehensive research reports, presentations, and briefing materials for management and clients.
· Maintain organized records of data sources, methodologies, and findings.
· Collaborate with other departments to provide research support for marketing campaigns, business proposals, and client advisory.
5. Administrative and Collaborative Tasks
· Assist in coordinating field surveys and interviews.
· Support the development of property profiles and fact sheets.
· Participate in strategy meetings and contribute to brainstorming sessions with data-backed insights.
Key Competencies and Skills:
· Strong analytical and research skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools.
· Familiarity with real estate market analytics platforms (e.g., PropertyPro, Estate Intel, Statista).
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to synthesize large amounts of data.
· Time management and ability to handle multiple research projects simultaneously.
Qualifications and Experience:
· Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate Management, Economics, Statistics, Business Administration, Urban Planning, or a related field.
· Minimum of 1–3 years' experience in market research, real estate analysis, or business development support.
· Experience in the real estate industry or consulting environment is an added advantage.
