Our client , an online radio is sourcing for On-Air Personality(OAP)'s for its office in Lagos . We are seeking a charismatic, creative, and engaging On-Air Personality (OAP) to join our broadcasting team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for hosting live and recorded shows, engaging audiences through compelling content, and representing the station's brand both on and off the air. This role requires excellent communication skills, quick thinking, and a passion for entertainment and current trends.

Requirements;

• Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Media Studies, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an On-Air Personality, presenter, or host in radio, or digital media.
• Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Strong sense of timing, improvisation, and audience engagement.
• Ability to handle live shows under pressure and adapt to breaking news or schedule changes.
• Proficiency with broadcast equipment, audio consoles, and editing software (e.g., Adobe Audition, Audacity).
• Active presence and creativity on social media platforms.
• Energetic, confident, and professional on-air persona.

Key Responsibilities;

• Host live and recorded radio/TV programs in an entertaining, informative, and engaging manner.
• Research, develop, and deliver creative content aligned with audience interests and station objectives.
• Conduct live interviews with guests, artists, and industry figures.
• Operate studio equipment and ensure smooth on-air transitions between segments, advertisements, and music.
• Promote shows, special events, and brand initiatives through on-air mentions and social media engagement.
• Collaborate with producers, sound engineers, and the programming team to plan show outlines and content flow.
• Adhere to broadcasting policies, station regulations, and relevant media laws.
• Participate in marketing campaigns, public appearances, and community events as a brand ambassador.
• Stay up-to-date with current trends, news, pop culture, and audience preferences.

Qualifications

A minimum of Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Media Studies, or a related field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₦200,000.00 per month
