Cozym Limited is a team of engineers and consultants with expertise in feasibility studies, engineering designs, materials procurement, and construction. We specialize in oil and gas solutions for surface production, processing, distribution, and storage. Our in-house capabilities and experienced personnel have consistently delivered excellent services in pipeline engineering, storage tank construction, and LPG storage terminal construction, among others.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Project Manager (Civil Engineer) located in Lekki. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing civil engineering projects from inception through to completion. Day-to-day tasks involve coordinating with construction teams, managing budgets, ensuring project timelines are met, and maintaining the quality and safety standards of all projects. The Project Manager will also be responsible for liaising with clients and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage civil engineering projects for oil and gas midstream facilities and pipeline corridors
  • Oversee site preparation, earthwork, and foundation design for pipeline and facility projects
  • Coordinate construction, access routes, and temporary facilities for project sites.
  • Manage concrete and structural work including pump stations, compressor stations, and tank farms
  • Lead procurement activities for civil construction materials and services
  • Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource requirements
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and permitting requirements
  • Coordinate with mechanical and electrical teams for integrated facility design
  • Manage construction contractors and ensure quality standards are maintained
  • Conduct site inspections and oversee construction progress
  • Prepare and review technical specifications, drawings, and construction documents
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory compliance

Qualifications

  • Budgeting and Project Management skills
  • Experience in Civil Engineering and Infrastructure
  • Construction Management skills
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and manage various aspects of a project
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Experience in the oil and gas industry is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field
  • Professional engineering certification is desirable
