Position Overview

The Senior Finance Executive supports the Senior Finance Manager in managing financial operations. You will handle financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and ensure compliance with financial policies and statutory obligations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing accurate financial statements in compliance with IFRS and organizational standards.
  • Budgeting: Support the preparation and management of the annual budget, forecasts, and cash flows.
  • Compliance: Ensure timely remittance of statutory obligations (PAYE, Pension, VAT) and compliance with internal controls.
  • Operational Finance: Maintain timely processing of accounts payable/receivable and perform bank reconciliations.
  • Audit Support: Contribute to the external audit process and resolve audit queries timely.

Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in a similar role within a structured environment. Faith-based/Non-profit experience is a plus.
  • Education: First Degree in Accounting/Finance. ACA or ACCA certification is required.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Accounting Software, ERP systems, and Advanced Excel.
  • Attributes: A Spirit-filled Christian with strong analytical skills and ethical standards.
