JOB SUMMARY:

The Floor Supervisor oversees all dining room operations and ensures guests receive outstanding service. The role manages staff performance, coordinates service flow, resolves customer concerns, and supports the overall efficiency and profitability of the restaurant.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise waiters, host/hostess, bartender and cleaning staff during shifts
• Ensure readiness of the dining area, menus, service stations and restrooms
• Monitor staff grooming, punctuality and adherence to SOPs
• Support the management in training staff on service standards and customer experience
• Coordinate communication between FOH and the kitchen to ensure timely service
• Handle customer complaints professionally and record incidents for review
• Oversee table reservations, guest seating and service flow
• Ensure POS accuracy and work closely with the cashier on billing
• Prepare daily shift reports, customer feedback summaries and staff performance notes
• Maintain a positive and organised atmosphere at all times

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in a high-end continental and/or Asian-fusion restaurant
• Customer service or hospitality training is an added advantage
• Strong understanding of restaurant service workflow
• Leadership, communication and conflict-resolution skills
• Strong organisational ability and attention to detail
• Professional appearance and confident presence
• Ability to multitask and manage peak-hour pressure
