About the Role

We're looking for a skilled and proactive WordPress & PHP Developer who takes full ownership of their work from concept to deployment. You'll play a key role in building, maintaining, and optimizing our digital platforms and product landing pages, ensuring clean, scalable, and efficient code that supports our growing ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Website Development & Maintenance: Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, plugins, and themes using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Custom Functionality: Create and manage custom post types, taxonomies, and APIs to extend WordPress capabilities.
  • Integration & Optimization: Integrate third-party APIs and ensure seamless backend–frontend communication.

Optimize website performance, speed, and security across devices and browsers.

  • Quality Assurance: Test, debug, and troubleshoot technical issues, ensuring high-quality deliverables with minimal supervision.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Minimum of 2 years professional experience in WordPress and PHP development.
  • Strong proficiency in:
  • PHP (OOP concepts, frameworks like Laravel or CodeIgniter are a plus)
  • WordPress (custom themes, plugins, hooks, shortcodes)
  • HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
  • Database management with MySQL etc
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON integration.
  • Experience with website performance tools and debugging.
  • Proficiency with Git, GitHub, or other version control systems.
  • Understanding of SEO best practices and web accessibility.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and deliver with a sense of ownership.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with headless WordPress setups or API-driven architecture.
  • Experience with Wordpress plugins and plugin setup
  • Experience with Cpanel and hosting tools like WHMCS, Digital Ocean, Hostinger, etc
  • Knowledge of web hosting, domain management, and deployment tools (cPanel, Cloudflare, etc.).
  • Familiarity with design tools (Figma, Adobe XD) for front-end collaboration.
  • Understanding of UI/UX principles.
