Position: Fiber Technician

Location: Ikeja, Lagos.

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled fiber technician to handle the installation, splicing, testing, and maintenance of fiber optic cables from the distribution point to customer premises. This role is key to ensuring every customer connection is neat, safe, and meets technical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and deploy fiber connections (FTTH) from drop point to customer location.
  • Perform splicing, termination, and link testing using OPM, VFL, and related tools.
  • Troubleshoot fiber faults, ensure quality assurance, and maintain detailed job documentation.
  • Adhere to safety procedures and maintain professional conduct at all times.
  • Communicate clearly with customers and represent the brand positively on-site.

Requirements:

  • OND/HND/Technical Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Telecommunications Engineering.
  • 1–3 years of hands-on experience in fiber installation, splicing, or FTTH projects.
  • Knowledge of PON/FTTH systems, fiber cable types, and testing tools.
  • Certifications in fiber optic splicing, Safety, or OTDR operation (added advantage).
