We are building a research-driven knowledge platform focused on Black women founders across Africa and the global diaspora. Our work is intellectual and analytical, unpacking trends, developing frameworks, analyzing systemic issues, and presenting evidence-based insights.
We are seeking contributors who can produce long-form, academically rigorous content that informs, educates, and builds a foundation for future scholarship and practical application.
This role is ideal for students, early-career researchers, or writers who want to develop their research, analysis, and long-form writing skills while contributing to a growing intellectual platform.
What You'll Do
- Research and write analytical, evidence-based articles (1,500+ words) on topics including:
- Entrepreneurship and innovation among Black women
- Gender dynamics and economic inclusion
- Access to finance and venture capital trends
- Case studies, frameworks, and systemic analysis
- Provide credible sources and APA-style citations for all factual claims
- Develop original frameworks or analytical perspectives
- Contribute content that supports a global, research-driven knowledge initiative
Who You Are
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Comfortable with academic-style writing and long-form research
- Interested in Black women's entrepreneurship, economic systems, and innovation
- Motivated to meet deadlines and collaborate in a remote team
- Previous research, policy, or academic experience is a plus
