Co -ordinate procurement activitiessuch as Purchasing, Expediting, Logistics and Material Handling, ensuring bestvalue through exploring different purchasing options, whilst complying with thecompany's procurement strategy.Design and implement supply chainspolicies that support business strategies adapted to changing marketconditions, new business opportunities, or cost reduction strategies.Drive cost reduction effortsutilizing negotiation techniques, managing transportation costs and minimizeworking capital while meeting company objectives.Appraisevendor manufacturing ability of materials, equipment or supplies through onsitevisits and measurements to determine product availability and terms of sales.Monitor supplier performance toassess ability to meet quality and delivery.Effectivemanagement of procurement budgets and costs.Implement Riskmanagement strategies that reduce supply chain disruptions.Ensurewell -organized contractual frameworks and compliance with relevant regulations.Carry out marketsurveys and maintain a cost database for the Company.Prepare Data andreports showcasing procurement performance, savings, and supplier compliance.Documentphysical supply chain processes, such as workflows, cycle times, positionresponsibilities, or system flows.Prepare timely and accurate reportson Supply Chain Management activities and performance against establishedtargets to the GM: Engineering and Integrated Services. RequirementsEducation:· Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management,Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.· Professional Certification in Procurement orSupply Chain Management (Required)· MBA or MSc an added advantage. Experience:· Minimum of 4 to 5 yearsin procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management in the Oil & Gasindustry.· Proficiency to use the NIPEX Portal forProcurement.· Strong negotiationand communication skills.· Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft OfficeSuite. · Ability to managemultiple tasks and deadlines in a fast -paced environment.· Attention to detailand high level of accuracy.· Experience withprocurement software and tools.· Strong analyticaland problem -solving skills.· Must be proactive,results -driven, and possess excellent organizational skills.
