SIMS Nigeria Limited specializes in the assembly, distribution and sales of consumer electronics from major brands such as - Samsung, Panasonic, Royal, Skyworth, Electrolux, Bosch, Philips and Powermatic. Our business started out in 1987 and since then we have grown to be a market leader in the home appliances & consumer electronics market in Nigeria. We operate a number of branches that cut across most of Nigeria's geopolitical zones in major cities such as Lagos, Port-Harcourt, Abuja, Onitsha, Enugu, Uyo and Kano.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Sales Analyst

Job Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

About the Role

  • We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Sales Analyst to support our sales team by providing actionable insights, forecasting trends, and improving overall sales performance.
  • The ideal candidate is skilled in data interpretation, reporting, and translating numbers into meaningful recommendations that drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze sales data and trends to support decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports for management.
  • Track performance against targets and identify gaps or opportunities for improvement.
  • Evaluate sales activities, customer behavior, and product performance.
  • Support the sales team with insights on pricing, promotions, and market conditions.
  • Maintain and improve dashboards, forecasting models, and data tracking systems.
  • Conduct competitor and market analysis to support business growth.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to ensure consistent and accurate reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field with 3 year experience.
  • Proven experience as a Sales Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work with large data sets and meet tight deadlines.
