The
HR/Legal & Administrative Officer
( Lawyer with Human Resources Experience ) plays a key role in ensuring organizational compliance, operational efficiency, and effective people management. This position combines legal expertise with human resource and administrative functions to support the company's strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will handle a broad range of responsibilities; from drafting legal documents and ensuring regulatory compliance to managing recruitment, employee relations, and office administration, while maintaining a culture of integrity, professionalism, and excellence..

Responsibilities


• Support management in workforce planning and HR strategy execution.


• Promote a positive work culture that fosters engagement, growth, and accountability.


• Draft, review, and manage contracts, agreements, and internal policies.


• Provide legal advice to management on corporate, labor, and regulatory matters.


• Ensure the company complies with statutory obligations and government regulations.


• Oversee daily office operations and ensure smooth administrative workflows.


• Provide general administrative support to management and departmental heads.


• Maintain up-to-date employee records and HR databases.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB) and called to the Nigerian Bar.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in HR, Legal, and Administrative roles.
  • Strong understanding of Nigerian labor laws, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and HR best practices.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HR management tools/software.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and documentation skills.
  • Strong ethical judgment, discretion, and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Additional certification in Human Resources Management (e.g., CIPM, SHRM, or equivalent) is a strong advantage.
