About Us:

Related Motions is a fast-rising media production company creating premium movies, TV shows, YouTube content, and commercials. We are passionate about telling bold, creative, and relatable African stories that inspire, entertain, and resonate with audiences locally and globally.

We are seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Lead with expertise in content monetization across streaming platforms, strategy development, and rollout campaigns for media productions. This role requires strong leadership, creativity, and execution skills to drive growth, visibility, and revenue for our productions.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Strategy

  • Develop and execute the digital marketing strategy for all productions and brand initiatives.
  • Oversee and guide the content creator's team, ensuring alignment with brand goals.
  • Report directly to the COO, providing strategic updates and marketing performance reports.

Content & Campaigns

  • Own and manage the company-wide content calendar, ensuring consistency and timely rollouts.
  • Design and execute rollout campaigns for movies, YouTube shows, and TV productions.
  • Approve and supervise marketing content (trailers, BTS, reels, posts, promos).

Monetization & Growth

  • Drive content monetization across YouTube, streaming platforms, and other digital channels.
  • Optimize content for discoverability, SEO, and platform algorithms.
  • Identify and manage partnerships (influencers, brands, distributors) to extend reach and revenue.

Performance & Reporting

  • Track, analyze, and report on campaign effectiveness, monetization performance, and audience growth.
  • Use data insights to refine strategy, improve ROI, and scale content performance.
  • Prepare weekly reports for management and the COO.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with production and distribution teams to align marketing with content releases.
  • Collaborate with sales and partnerships teams on monetization and brand campaigns.
  • Represent the marketing team in senior management discussions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in digital marketing, preferably in film, TV, or media production.
  • Expertise in YouTube monetization, streaming platforms, and paid digital campaigns.
  • Experience leading teams and managing content creators.
  • Strong skills in SEO, analytics, campaign reporting, and budget management.
  • Creative thinker with excellent storytelling, communication, and leadership skills.
