We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Risk Manager

Job Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Job Description

  • As we continue to expand, we are seeking a Risk Manager with strong analytical and control skills to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a finance house, investment firm, or lending company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, assess, and monitor financial, operational, and credit risks across all business units.
  • Develop and implement effective risk management frameworks and internal control systems.
  • Monitor lending portfolios, client exposures, and credit performance.
  • Evaluate new transactions, counterparties, and projects for potential risks.
  • Conduct periodic risk reviews and prepare management reports on risk exposure.
  • Ensure full compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements (CBN, SEC, NFIU, etc.).
  • Work closely with management to maintain a balance between risk and profitability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a finance house, investment firm, or lending company.
  • Strong understanding of credit analysis, operational risk, and financial reporting.
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical ability, and communication skills.
  • Professional certifications (ACCA, ACA, or Risk-related training) will be an added advantage.
