As we expand into a full gift-tech marketplace, we're building the largest ecosystem for gifting in Africa — connecting users directly with trusted vendors and brands across categories.
We're looking for a Marketplace & Vendor Partnerships Manager who will lead the marketplace rollout, manage vendor relationships, and work directly with the CEO to bring top vendors and partners on board.
Role Overview
The Marketplace & Vendor Partnerships Manager will oversee all marketplace operations — from vendor sourcing and onboarding to partnership development and category management. Will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and managing vendor relationships to ensure Weeshr becomes the go-to gifting destination across Africa.
Key Responsibilities
•Marketplace Development: Lead the launch and growth of the Weeshr Marketplace, ensuring a seamless vendor onboarding and management process.
•Vendor Partnerships: Identify, engage, and secure partnerships with top vendors, retailers, and service providers relevant to the gifting ecosystem.
•Vendor Management: Maintain strong relationships with vendors and ensure quality control, brand alignment, and excellent customer experience.
•Onboarding Coordination: Organize and lead both virtual and physical meetings with vendors for partnership discussions, negotiations, and onboarding.
•Revenue Growth: Develop and execute strategies to drive marketplace sales, increase vendor visibility, and boost platform engagement.
•Cross-functional Collaboration: Work directly with the CEO, product, and marketing teams to align vendor activities with company growth objectives.
•Performance Tracking: Monitor KPIs related to vendor activity, sales performance, and customer satisfaction.
•Category Expansion: Scout and onboard vendors across diverse gifting categories — from fashion and tech to lifestyle and experiences.

•Tech-savvy and familiar with vendor or marketplace management platforms.
•Proactive, and passionate about the gifting, lifestyle, and tech ecosystem.
