Role SummaryWe are currently hiring a Backhoe Operator with strong hands -on experience in operating and maintaining backhoe machinery on construction sites. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience and should demonstrate safety awareness and equipment handling competence. Key ResponsibilitiesOperate backhoe machinery to perform excavations, trenching, and material movementPerform pre -operation checks to ensure the equipment is in proper working conditionLoad and unload materials as required for site tasksWork with site engineers and supervisors to execute planned excavation or backfilling activitiesEnsure safety of self and others by adhering to site and company safety protocolsPerform routine maintenance checks and report any issues or breakdowns to the maintenance teamKeep daily logs of machine usage and report to the site supervisorFollow site markings, layouts, and excavation boundaries as provided RequirementsRequirementsMinimum of 5 years proven experience operating a backhoe on construction sitesRelevant equipment operator certification or license is mandatoryGood knowledge of equipment safety, maintenance, and operating proceduresAbility to work under pressure and in remote site locationsStrong teamwork, communication, and disciplineKnowledge of basic machine troubleshooting is an added advantage
