UX/UI Lead — KevaAi

About the Role

At KevaAi , we're building an intelligent platform that uses AI to prequalify users, helping them understand their eligibility and opportunities in near real time. As our UX/UI Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping how people experience our product — from intuitive design to human-centered interactions that inspire trust and clarity.

This is a leadership position where design meets product strategy. You'll own the user journey end-to-end — leading design thinking, UX research, prototyping, and front-end collaboration with engineers to deliver experiences that feel effortless and intelligent.

You'll partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Data Science to turn complex user flows into simple, elegant solutions. You'll report directly to the Technical Lead.

What You'll Do

Lead UX/UI Design Strategy: Define and evolve KevaAi 's design system, style guide, and user interaction patterns across web and mobile platforms.

Research & Ideation: Conduct user interviews, A/B tests, and usability studies to inform design decisions and continuously improve product usability.

Prototype & Iterate Rapidly: Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and design specs for new features and AI-driven experiences.

Collaborate with Engineers: Work closely with front-end developers (React, TypeScript) to ensure seamless handoff and consistent implementation.

Own the User Journey: Map end-to-end experiences across onboarding, qualification, and dashboard views to maximize user trust, engagement, and clarity.

Data-Informed Design: Partner with analytics teams to interpret behavioral data and refine UX flows that improve conversion and retention.

Mentor & Lead: Guide junior designers, review designs, and promote best practices in design thinking, accessibility, and usability.

Brand & Visual Identity: Help define the visual voice of KevaAi — sleek, human-centered, and credibility-driven.

A Day in the Life at KevaAi

On any given day, you might:

Host a design critique session with engineers and product managers.

Run a rapid prototyping sprint for a new "AI qualification" flow.

Present mockups to leadership and align business goals with design outcomes.

Refine our component library for accessibility and performance.

Review user analytics to identify where users drop off during the qualification process.

Collaborate with the full-stack engineering team to fine-tune front-end performance.

What We're Looking For

5+ years of UX/UI design experience, ideally in SaaS, FinTech, or AI-driven platforms.

Mastery of Figma, Adobe XD, or similar tools for design systems and prototyping.

Strong understanding of user research methodologies and testing frameworks.

Experience working with React front-ends and collaborating closely with full-stack developers.

Portfolio demonstrating excellence in web UX, AI/ML interface design, and responsive layouts.

Solid grasp of HTML, CSS, and front-end logic to ensure design feasibility.

Ability to translate abstract AI outcomes into human-readable insights.

Proven leadership in mentoring designers and influencing product direction.

Degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
