Job SummaryThe position mainly involves ideating new project ideas within HipCity's thematic areas of interest, seeking grant request and taking leadership in coordinating other team members to apply for sameUndertake project management of all HipCity's ongoing project.carrying out data analysis, assessment and computation of data in the HipCity Intervention areas. The post holder will directly implement the project and also document lessons learnt, support assessments and monitoring and evaluation of the Education in Emergencies components of Plan International's emergency response.He/she is responsible for assessment, response analysis, design, capacity building.Main Duties & ResponsibilitiesSupport in documenting lessons learnt and best practices of all HipCity's ongoing projectSupport the project Director in designing of new Project Implementation Plans.Ensure the execution of the Project Implementation Plan is accurately carried out under the Project/Executive Director supervisionWith support from other team members, will support to design a Monitoring plan and simple data collection tools to ensure monitoring and data collection of key project indicatorsWill be responsible for the formation, strengthening and training of the Community structures.Will play a key role in the mobilization and engagement of the community and stakeholders in the implementation and monitoring of the projectReview, assess and update all HipCity's projects.Highlight key project issues requiring a responseRegularly innovate on new project concepts and ideasEngage with old and potential stakeholders (Donors. Government, Communities etc) to seek new opportunities.Carryout regular research on topical issues around the organization's thematic areas of interest and publish articles on internationally and national recognized news and knowledge platforms.And any other task assigned on this role.Position RequirementBSc Degree/Diploma in any humanities, Development studies, social science or sciences1-2 year experience working in similar roleNGO experience is a plus.Basic computer skill (Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and e-mail, PMP).Ability to work as part of a team as well as to work autonomously when required.Good command of spoken and written English.
