**Role title: Group Head, Mid-Market Banking
Location: Lagos
About the Role**
A top financial institution is recruiting a dynamic leader to drive its Mid-Market Banking segment, focusing on fast-growing mid-sized businesses with strong credit appetite and expansion potential.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the Mid-Market division and oversee overall portfolio strategy.
Acquire and grow relationships with mid-sized, growth-stage companies.
Drive credit structuring, lending activities, and cross-sell opportunities.
Develop industry-based growth strategies across various sectors.
Improve portfolio quality and ensure full regulatory compliance.
Manage, mentor, and motivate relationship managers across regions.
Requirements
12–15+ years' experience in Business Banking, SME Banking, Commercial Banking, or Mid-Market Banking.
Strong expertise in credit, lending, and mid-market customer management.
Proven ability to grow revenue in emerging or expansion-stage business segments.
Demonstrated leadership and team development capability.
Experience developing sector-focused growth strategies.
