Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria Revent Advisory Partners Full time ₦475,000 - ₦1,500,000 per year

Job Title: IT Project Manager

Location: Lagos (Hybrid)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the execution of technology initiatives that power secure, scalable, and high-performance financial systems. The ideal candidate will drive end-to-end delivery of projects across infrastructure, software development, and platform optimization — ensuring alignment between business goals and technical outcomes.

This role requires someone who thrives at the intersection of technology, innovation, and financial services, capable of managing complex, high-impact projects that enable seamless digital transactions and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and manage the full lifecycle of technology and software delivery projects — from initiation to deployment and support.

Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource plans in collaboration with business and technical stakeholders.

Lead cross-functional teams — including developers, product managers, QA, and infrastructure engineers — to ensure projects meet business and compliance requirements.

Develop and maintain project documentation, including plans, risk registers, change logs, and progress reports.

Oversee integration of payment systems, APIs, and enterprise platforms to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance.

Track and report project performance against milestones, deliverables, and budgets.

Identify potential project risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks early, and execute effective mitigation plans.

Collaborate with internal security and compliance teams to ensure all technology projects adhere to regulatory, data protection, and cybersecurity standards.

Manage relationships with vendors, service providers, and technology partners to deliver projects efficiently.

Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess outcomes and continuously improve delivery practices.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years' experience managing technology or software projects — ideally within fintech, digital payments, or enterprise IT environments.

Proven track record of leading diverse technical teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.

Solid knowledge of IT infrastructure, APIs, networking, and system integration.

Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana, or Microsoft Project).

Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and reporting skills.

Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum Master are an advantage.

Preferred Attributes

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality, secure, and compliant solutions.

Collaborative leader with the ability to influence across technical and non-technical teams.

Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business priorities into actionable technology initiatives.
