Join us to be part of a team that makes a global impact.About the RoleWe are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Tax Consultant to provide expert advice, compliance support, and strategic tax planning services to our clients and organisations. The successful candidate will analyze financial records, ensure compliance with tax laws, minimize liabilities, identify opportunities for tax efficiency, and interface with the Nigerian tax authorities (FIRS/SIRS) on behalf of the organization.⸻Key ResponsibilitiesAdvise client/organization on local, state, federal, and international tax matters.Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.Develop strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize financial efficiency.Keep up-to-date with changes in tax legislation, regulations, best practices and relay same to client/advise accordingly.Conduct tax research and provide solutions to complex tax issues.Represent client during audits and liaise with tax authorities when required/necessary.Support financial planning by providing insights into tax implications.Assist with transfer pricing, VAT, WHT, CIT, payroll taxes, etc and cross-border tax issues (if applicable).⸻Qualifications & SkillsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field (Master's or professional certification preferred).Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, ACA, CTA, or equivalent.Proven experience as a Tax Consultant, Tax Advisor, or in a similar role.Strong knowledge of tax legislation and compliance standards.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills.High attention to detail and accuracy.Strong communication and client management skills.Proficiency in tax/accounting software and MS Office Suite.⸻Preferred Experience7-9 years of relevant work experience in public accounting, consulting/corporate tax.Experience with international tax planning and cross-border tax compliance.Familiarity with [specific tax jurisdictions applicable].
