Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain internal control frameworks, policies, and procedures.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and identify areas of process improvement.
  • Review operational and financial activities to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor and follow up on audit and control recommendations to ensure timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with management and departmental heads to enhance control effectiveness.
  • Provide periodic reports and insights to management on risk exposures and control performance.
  • Promote awareness of internal control principles through staff training and guidance.

Qualifications and Experience

  • B.Sc. / HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in internal control, audit, or risk management (preferably in a manufacturing or agro-allied company).
  • Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIA is required.
  • Strong understanding of internal control systems, financial reporting, and risk management frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of integrity, objectivity, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and audit or accounting software.
