Job Summary:

The Cook will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality meals across various local and continental cuisines. The ideal candidate must have hands-on kitchen experience, creativity in menu execution, and a commitment to hygiene and consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes (local, continental, and intercontinental).
  • Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet restaurant standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen at all times.
  • Assist in menu planning, portion control, and inventory management.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
  • Coordinate with kitchen assistants and service staff for timely meal delivery.
  • Monitor stock levels and communicate supply needs to management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3–5 years proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or hotel.
  • Skilled in multiple cuisines (Nigerian, African, and Continental).
  • Excellent knowledge of kitchen equipment and safety procedures.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain consistency.
  • Good communication, time management, and teamwork skills.
  • Must reside in Wuse Zone,1 Abuja or nearby areas.
