DelonJobs is seeking to hire a .NET Backend Developer (Mid-level) for a leading Financial Company in Lagos, Nigeria.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining server-side applications and APIs that power the company's products and services. He/She collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, QA engineers, and product managers to deliver robust, high-performing solutions.

Interested candidates must possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field with at least 3–5 years of hands-on experience with C#, .NET Core/.NET 6+.

Monthly net salary is between N600,000 – N800,000

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services using C#, .NET Core/.NET 6+.
  • Build secure and scalable RESTful APIs and services.
  • Collaborate with teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Integrate backend services with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
  • Implement best practices for authentication, authorization, and data security.
  • Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Document technical designs, APIs, and processes.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Possess minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience with C#, .NET Core/.NET 6+.
  • Solid knowledge of Entity Framework Core, LINQ, and relational databases (SQL Server or PostgreSQL).
  • Understanding of asynchronous programming, multithreading, and API optimization.
  • Familiarity with version control (Git, Azure DevOps) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
  • Exposure to microservices, Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
  • Understanding of frontend frameworks (Angular, React).
