Role Description

This is a full-time role for an Associate Lawyer at Moland Partners, located in Lagos. The Associate Lawyer will be responsible for various day-to-day tasks associated with corporate and commercial law, corporate litigation, real estate advisory, legal research, drafting and reviewing contracts, providing legal advice and consultation, representing clients in legal proceedings, and assisting with transactional matters.

The Associate Lawyer will work closely with partners and other team members to deliver high-quality legal services to our clients. This role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to manage end-to-end legal support and advisory, and a proactive approach to improving systems, processes, and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3- 5 years post-call legal experience in a law firm or corporate legal department
• Strong knowledge and experience in corporate and commercial law
• Experience in corporate and commercial litigation
• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to draft and review legal documents and contracts
• Professional certifications such as ICSAN, CITN are an added advantage.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams
• Critical thinking
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian Legal System and Corporate Governance rules
• Sound understanding of Nigerian court rules
