As Django Backend Developer, you will be pivotal to the continuous success of the products we help founders build. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, ensuring fault tolerance, and high performance to requests from the front-end.

YOUR DUTIES

  • Design and create RESTful APIs for mobile and web frontend.
  • Work closely with UX Designers, and Front-end Developers.
  • Participate in architectural, design and product discussions.
  • Deploy to serverless environments such as AWS, Heroku and GCP.
  • Work in an agile environment with a team of engineers

OUR CRITIERIA

Our team of eleven include full time Product Designers, Software Engineers, Product Managers, and Product Marketing Experts. We are coordinated by two internal operating objectives – Dependability, and Quality. While we are a diverse bunch, we do seem to have a preference for people who are extremely dependable and have a keen eye for details. You could say, it is our culture.

Here is what we would expect you to have:

  • BSc/HND degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
  • Experience developing RESTful APIs as part of a microservice architecture.
  • 3 - 5 years work experience with Django Framework.
  • Solid database skills in a relational database (i.e., PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.).
  • Keen eye for details, borderline perfectionist.
  • Experience deploying Python applications into production.
  • Strong knowledge of version control.
