Role Description

This is a contract role for a Laundry/Housekeeping Attendant located on-site at Precious Palm Royal Hotel in Benin City. The Laundry/Housekeeping Attendant will be responsible for performing daily cleaning and laundry tasks, ensuring that guest rooms and public areas are clean, organized, and well-maintained. The role requires attention to detail, maintaining hygiene standards, and ensuring guest comfort at all times. The attendant will also address guest requests and adhere to operational guidelines to maintain a welcoming and sanitary environment.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in laundry operations and techniques, including clothing and linen care.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills to interact effectively with team members and guests.
  • Excellent organization skills to manage tasks efficiently and prioritize responsibilities as needed.
  • Experience or willingness to undergo training in housekeeping and laundry best practices.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision.
  • A commitment to maintaining high cleanliness and hygiene standards in all areas.
  • Previous experience in a similar role or in the hospitality industry is an advantage.
