We are a U.S.-based technology startup on a mission to build innovative digital solutions that solve real-world challenges across global markets. As a lean and ambitious early-stage company, we are seeking a visionary and execution-driven General Manager (GM) to lead the company's operations, product strategy, and fundraising efforts.

The GM will be responsible for driving growth, overseeing day-to-day execution, and positioning the company for sustainable success. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for a motivated builder who can lead a small team and scale the company from concept to profitability or funding.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Strategy: Execute the company's overall strategic vision and business roadmap. Translate goals into actionable plans, driving measurable growth and operational efficiency. Build a high-performance culture grounded in innovation and accountability.

  • Operations & Execution: Oversee daily business operations, including technology, marketing, partnerships, and finance. Work closely with the technical support team to deliver and continuously improve the company's products and services. Establish internal processes for reporting, planning, and performance tracking. Attract talents, hire and build a team that will report to this position and advance the mission of Harmonia.

  • Product & Technology Oversight: Collaborate directly with technical support staff to guide product development, testing, and deployment. Ensure technology initiatives align with business strategy and customer needs. Leverage AI and data-driven insights to strengthen products and improve user experience.

  • Business Development & Fundraising: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams. Engage potential investors, accelerators, or grant programs to secure funding. Represent the company in industry events, conferences, and strategic networking forums.

  • Governance & Accountability: Report to the CEO/founders/board on performance, milestones, and key risks. Ensure legal, financial, and operational compliance in both U.S. and Nigerian contexts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required (Master's preferred) in Technology, Business, or related field.

  • Proven experience in or strong knowledge of technology startups, SaaS, AI, or digital platforms (preferred).

  • Strong understanding of product management, fundraising, and business scaling.

  • Willingness to travel to the US or Europe to represent us in an accelerator program

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive under limited resources.

  • Must be self-motivated, tech-savvy, and execution-focused.

  • Prior experience working with U.S. or international teams is an added advantage.
