  • The Head of Training and Development Organization is responsible for leading the strategic direction, management, and execution of all training and development initiatives within the organization.
  • This role requires a visionary leader with a strong track record of delivering impactful results, fostering a culture of continuous learning, and driving organizational performance through skill enhancement and talent development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership:
  • Develop and implement the organization's training and development strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Identify emerging trends, technologies, and practices to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of learning and development.
  • Program Design & Execution:
  • Oversee the creation, delivery, and evaluation of innovative training programs for employees at all levels. Ensure programs are relevant, engaging, and measurable in terms of impact and outcomes.
  • Team Management:
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team of trainers, facilitators, and instructional designers. Foster collaboration, professional growth, and accountability within the team.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Collaborate with senior leadership, department heads, and external partners to assess training needs, secure buy-in, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Performance Measurement:
  • Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of training initiatives.
  • Use data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement and demonstrate ROI.
  • Budget & Resource Management:
  • Manage budgets, resources, and vendor relationships to maximize efficiency and impact of training investments. Manage the training budget and ensure cost-effective delivery of programs.
  • Change Management:
  • Champion organizational change initiatives, ensuring employees are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to adapt and thrive.
  • Compliance & Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure all training programs comply with legal, regulatory, and industry standards. Maintain high levels of quality and consistency across training offerings.

Requirements

  • Knowledge & Skills Required:
  • Master's Degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or related field, (Doctorate Degree is added advantage)
  • Minimum of years of progressive experience in training and development, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Demonstrated success in designing and implementing effective training programs that drive measurable business outcomes.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

  • Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with the latest learning technologies, e-learning platforms, and instructional design methodologies.
