HR Generalist

Job Objectives

· Responsible for execution of HR Operational services to stakeholders. Would also support the identification and development of process excellence across the various arms of HR at the tactical and transactional level.

Duties & Responsibilities

§ Maintain quick Turn Around Time in attending to employee welfare related matters in line with the policies and procedures of the Bank.

§ Possess excellent knowledge of the HR Policies to ensure reliable first line of contact for enquiries from staff on various HR related matters.

§ Responsible for organizing HR Induction Programme for new hires in the Bank and its subsidiaries and ensure programme report is submitted to Head of HR & Admin.

§ Participate in the recruitment process to ensure improved Turn Around Time Bankwide.

§ Actively participate in the execution of the Learning & Development Programme of the Bank.

§ To be the HR liaising officer with the various government agencies including Pencom, NSITF, ITF, Federal Mortgage Bank (NHF) etc.

§ Participate in the various activities leading to the completeness of employee documents with the Bank to ensure smooth employee confirmation within probation period.

§ Participate in the design, development, implementation and maintenance of a skills inventory to assist in human resource planning and identification of learning needs.

§ Support in the development of infrastructure for all training and development programs by establishing standardized methods and procedures for delivery, evaluation, measurement and reporting.

§ Promote the sales of HR product and services to businesses and facilitate the implementation of same.

§ Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.

§ Participate in strengthening relations between staff and Management.

§ Support the process of carrying out survey exercises by Human Capital Management.

§ Perform other duties as required by Unit Head and Head, HR & Admin.

Education Requirement

· Minimum of bachelor's degree (Masters and relevant professional qualifications)

· Professional membership of relevant institutions is desirable.

· Minimum of 7 (seven) years cognate experience.
