Job Description:

The Printer & Machine Operator handles Craftycle's printers and cutting machines to produce clean, accurate, high-quality prints and cutouts. The role requires technical skill, attention to detail, and consistent machine care to keep production running smoothly.

Expectations:

Print Quality: Produce sharp, clean, color-accurate prints.

Technical Operation: Run printers, cutters, and other production tools confidently.

Machine Maintenance: Clean, check, and troubleshoot machines as needed.

Material Handling: Load and track paper, vinyl, cardstock, and consumables.

Time Management: Complete jobs quickly without compromising quality.

Quality Control: Check every print and cut for alignment and accuracy.

Organization: Keep machines and workspace clean and properly arranged.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with designers and production staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate Printing & Cutting Machines: Run printers and cutting machines for daily production.

Machine Setup: Adjust settings for color, size, material, and cutting depth.

Maintenance: Clean print heads, replace inks, change blades, and fix minor issues.

Material Tracking: Monitor ink, paper, blades, and other consumables.

Quality Checks: Inspect prints and cuts before they move to production.

File Handling: Load print-ready files properly with the correct sizing and bleed.

Workspace Care: Keep machines dust-free and the work area organized.
