Role Description

SmartCity is seeking a dedicated and professional Executive Driver to provide exclusive transportation and travel support to the Chairman.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate confidentiality, discipline, and adaptability, with the flexibility to travel frequently within and outside Lagos.

This role requires someone trustworthy, well-mannered, and attentive to detail, capable of maintaining a high level of professionalism at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive and maintain the Chairman's official vehicle in excellent condition.
  • Ensure timely, safe, and efficient transportation to meetings, engagements, and out-of-town trips.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality (NDA compliance) concerning all movements, discussions, and itineraries.
  • Exhibit professional conduct, neat appearance, and strong interpersonal etiquette.
  • Manage travel logistics, route planning, and security awareness for intercity trips.
  • Keep detailed records of vehicle maintenance, fuel usage, and service schedules.
  • Provide basic logistical and protocol assistance when required.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum of SSCE/School Certificate.
  • 10+ years of professional driving experience, including intercity travel.
  • Married, stable, and mature personality.
  • Aged between 35–50 years.
  • Strong moral discipline and integrity.
  • Must be ready to stay with the principal (Chairman) during the week (Monday–Friday).
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Excellent knowledge of Lagos and interstate routes.
  • Physically fit, reliable, and adaptable to changing schedules.
  • Must maintain discretion, patience, and loyalty at all times.
