Job Description:

Precise Lighting, a leading Luxury Lighting and Furniture Retail Company based in Lekki, Lagos, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Inventory Audit Officer. This role involves ensuring the accuracy and consistency of our inventory audits, implementing effective inventory control measures, and driving operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all inventory audit processes, ensuring strict adherence to company procedures and standards.
  • Regularly review and analyse inventory records to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions, ensuring accuracy.
  • Collaborate with inventory supervisors and control personnel to align inventory audit processes and goals across all departments.
  • Develop, implement, and manage effective inventory control strategies that minimise losses and maximise operational efficiency.
  • Conduct regular training and education sessions for inventory staff, emphasizing audit procedures and compliance with company standards.
  • Foster open lines of communication with the Inventory Supervisor, providing regular audit reports and recommendations for process improvements.
  • Liaise with external auditors as required, ensuring all necessary documentation and records are accurately maintained and readily accessible.
  • Leverage inventory audit software and systems to improve audit efficiency and accuracy, driving the adoption of technology where beneficial.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of inventory audit processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovative approaches to improve inventory management and audit processes.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Inventory Audit Officer or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management and auditing software
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Understanding of audit standards and inventory control principles
