Job Position: Accounts Operation Executive

Job Locations: Abuja (FCT) and Abia

Employment Type: Full-time

Department: Finance Department

Reports To: Senior Finance Manager

About the Role

  • This role is ideal for a proactive professional who can manage day-to-day financial operations, support business efficiency, and ensure accuracy and integrity across all financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily financial operations including invoice processing, payments, account reconciliations, and transaction postings.
  • Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and operational documentation in line with regulatory and internal compliance standards.
  • Monitor account activities to identify discrepancies and resolve variances promptly.
  • Prepare periodic financial reports, operational dashboards, and performance summaries for management review.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless financial workflows and timely resolution of outstanding issues.
  • Track receivables, payables, and billing cycles to support effective cashflow management.
  • Conduct routine audits of operational processes to enhance efficiency and financial accuracy.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and the implementation of financial operation best practices.
  • Liaise with clients, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure clarity and accuracy on billing, contracts, and financial documentation.
  • Support month-end reconciliation, expense reporting, and other financial close activities.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field with 3-7 years of experience.
  • Qualified (or student member at the final stage of qualification) with a recognised professional accounting body (ICAN, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Strong technical knowledge and practical application of relevant IFRS principles.
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Renumeration Package

NGN300,000 - NGN350,000 / Month
