VOLUNTEER JOB DESCRIPTION: VIDEO EDITOR & GRAPHICS DESIGNER

Role Title:Video Editor & Graphics Designer (Volunteer)

Location: Remote / Hybrid

Commitment: Part-time (flexible hours)

Start Date: Immediate

Compensation: Volunteer (unpaid)

Role Summary

We are looking for a passionate and creative individual who wants to gain hands-on experience while contributing to meaningful, impactful work. As our Volunteer Video Editor & Graphics Designer, you will support our media and communications team by producing compelling visual content across all digital platforms.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to grow their portfolio, strengthen their creative skills, work with a dynamic team, and gain real-world experience in content creation, branding, and media production.

Key Responsibilities

Video Editing

* Edit short-form and long-form videos for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and Threads.

* Cut, trim, and compile raw footage into clean, engaging edits.

* Add subtitles, transitions, music, overlays, and visual enhancements.

* Support the creation of podcast clips, promotional videos, and educational content.

Graphics Design

* Design graphics for social media posts, flyers, banners, and event promotions.

* Create visually consistent brand templates for weekly or monthly content.

* Work on logos, typography layouts, thumbnails, and digital campaign designs.

* Ensure brand consistency across all visual outputs.

General Creative Support

* Collaborate with the content and media team to interpret briefs and deadlines.

* Offer fresh creative ideas for improving content quality.

* Maintain an organized asset library for footage and design files.

Requirements

* Basic to intermediate skills in video editing tools (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, InShot, or similar).

* Basic to intermediate skills in graphic design tools (Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator).

* Creativity, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.

* Access to a laptop or smartphone that can handle editing tasks.

* Good communication and time-management skills.

* Ability to meet deadlines and work collaboratively.
