Job Position: Social Media Manager

Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Description

  • We're looking for a creative and proactive Social Media Representative to manage Balangu Lagos's online presence.
  • The ideal candidate will capture engaging content, post regularly across our social platforms, and connect with our online audience to grow visibility and engagement for the brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and post daily social media content (photos, videos, stories, reels, etc.) showcasing our grills, customers, and atmosphere.
  • Manage the brand's pages across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and WhatsApp.
  • Respond to DMs, comments, and online inquiries in a friendly and timely manner.
  • Work with the on-site team to plan and promote special offers, new menu items, and events.
  • Monitor trends and come up with fun, creative ideas for posts.
  • Capture behind-the-scenes moments and customer experiences (with consent).
  • Track engagement and share weekly performance updates with the team.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess relevant qualifications with experience.
  • Must live in Lagos.
  • Passion for food, social media, and storytelling.
  • Ability to take good photos/videos using a smartphone.
  • Basic understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and other major social platforms.
  • Creative, reliable, and able to work independently.
  • Good communication and writing skills (for captions and replies).
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends for live coverage.
