He/She will collaborate closely with stakeholders to define technical strategies, contribute to architectural decisions, and lead the delivery of mission-critical backend systems.

Monthly net salary is between N1,000,000 – N1,200,000

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and optimization of backend services using C#, .NET Core/.NET 6+.
  • Architect scalable and secure RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and provide strategic input.
  • Drive performance tuning, system reliability, and best practices in backend development. - Integrate backend systems with databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Implement advanced security practices for authentication, authorization, and data protection.
  • Mentor and guide junior/mid-level developers.
  • Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards.
  • Contribute to DevOps practices and CI/CD automation.
  • Prepare detailed technical documentation and architecture diagrams.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 6+ years of professional experience in backend development with .NET Core/.NET 6+.
  • Expertise in C#, Entity Framework Core, LINQ, and relational databases.
  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS/GCP).
  • Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and optimize high-performance systems.
  • Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Clean Architecture will be an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka) and event-driven systems will be an added advantage
