Job Summary

A beverage company is looking to Hire a smart, driven and resourceful HR Officer. The Human Resources Officer will oversee all HR functions within sales business, including recruitment, staff training, performance management, payroll, and compliance.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for sales and support roles.
  • Develop job descriptions and candidate profiles in collaboration with department managers.
  • Conduct interviews, reference checks, and selection procedures.
  • Oversee smooth onboarding and orientation for new hires.
  • Oversee payroll processing and ensure accuracy in compensation, bonuses, and commissions.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies in payroll and benefits matters.
  • Develop, update, and enforce HR policies in line with legal requirements and company strategy.
  • Ensure business-wide compliance with employment laws, health & safety regulations, and data protection.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of proven experience in an HR role (experience in retail, hospitality, or FMCG is an advantage).
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HR software.
  • Ability to multitask and handle sensitive information professionally.
