Auto Bucks, on the other hand, is a non-deposit taking microfinance institution (MFI) specializing in SME lending. Together, these entities are committed to driving economic growth by supporting SMEs across Nigeria.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Lagos for the position of Senior SME Loan Officer. The Senior SME Loan Officer will be responsible for assessing loan applications, performing credit analyses, and verifying client information and documentation. Key activities include structuring loan agreements, monitoring loan performance, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. The role also involves identifying potential clients and promoting financial products to meet the needs of SMEs.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of loan assessment, credit risk analysis, and loan structuring.
  • Proficiency in relationship management, client assessment, and customer service.
  • Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and strong decision-making abilities.
  • Familiarity with financial regulations, loan compliance, and reporting standards.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in SME lending or financial services is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in basic financial modeling and loan management tools is a plus.
